While there have been many representative organizations of the Pakistani ICT industry on both public and private levels; there was a need felt to do more than what is currently being done, especially in putting efforts of establishing joint industry consortium for targeting high value projects and funding. There was also a need for establishing a formal link between Industry and Academia to strengthen R&D activities and collaborative working on initiatives to make Pakistan ‘A research oriented destination of choice”.  We aim to bring under one umbrella all facets of the ICT sector which includes hardware, software, networking, telecommunication, infrastructure, consulting, HR services, etc, together with Academic institutions. We thrive to bring the concept of more than one SMEs working jointly on ICT projects; a glowing reality on the local ICT scene.
